Recovery Coaches

“A Recovery Coach promotes recovery and removes barriers and obstacles to recovery. Recovery Coaches serve as a personal guide and mentor for people seeking or already in recovery from an addiction to alcohol and/or other drugs. While we believe in the title Recovery Coach, there are many other titles that are used for this sought-after position. What distinguishes a coach from other peer positions is that we stay in the lane of providing support for people in recovery from an addition to alcohol and or other drugs.” (from CCAR website https://addictionrecoverytraining.org/)

As a coalition we acknowledge recovery is an important goal, yet it is not Thee goal. In light of eternity, what is discovering freedom from addiction while still living in bondage to our sin and shame? This is a short-term gain for a long-term loss. As Christians, we define recovery as allowing God to redeem every aspect of our lives, be it through our relationships, careers, finances, emotional/mental state, etc. As addiction is usually only the presenting problem, our coaches are also resource brokers to provide referrals for wrap around care. For we believe that long suffering leads to transformation when we surrender to our higher power. While many search for this power, we know Jesus is the living embodiment of Hope and Healing. Reach out to us today and we will help you map out your goals for a better tomorrow.
